What Realtor association do you belong?
We are members of NSBAR, MORe , CAR, RAFV. This makes transfer really easy - you keep your MLS id, your clients, all your set-up searches, familiar contracts , board training, etc…
How do offices work?
Our offices are situated in great locations , open Monday through Friday 9-5 pm. During regular business hours our secretarial staff is available to handle any correspondence - mail, earnest money, contract paperwork. To reach Broker directly call (847) 530-3381 anytime.
What kind of equipment is available at the office?
Copier, printer, scanner, fax. During office ours secreterial staff is avalable to help you with any equipment questions. There are no computers for common use, you will have to bring your own laptop or a tablet. Wireless and wired network connections are available.
Can I bring my clients to the office?
Sure, beautiful conference rooms are available at all locations during regular business hours Monday–Friday, 9am-5pm.
What about training?
We offer the best kind of training - one-on-one instructions with the Managing Broker. After you join, we'll cover all mandatory documentation, contracts, negotiation, marketing strategy and ideas.
Then you wil be updated on current industry and legal changes as often as needed, and, of course we're here to help and answer any questions, any time.
Additionally, there are plenty of tutorials, free classes from the boards, constant seminars, just be sure find the time to stay on top of it all.

How do I join?
Contact us to schedule a meeting. Come in for a chat, see if you like what we offer. Once you decide to transfer, your current broker will have to sign your license. Once you bring it to us, you will get 45-day permit, fill out paperwork and start making some serious money!
Transfer fees are:
$25 to IDFPR (check)
$50-$75 board transfer (depends on the board).
Unique Realty does not charge any processing or transfer fees
What is your Errors and Omissions Insurance coverage?
Company coverage is $1,000,000. If you work a lot with REO’s, you are strongly encouraged to inquire about insurance requirements with the bank that owns the property. You might need to purchase additional insurance..
What is Errors and Omissions Insurance premium?
E&O premium is $150 and is due every April.
Tools of the Trade
What if I need a sign for my listings?
No problem, we use F&S Sign company, they have our generic For Sale and For Rent signs. If you wish to have a rider with your name or a custom sign made, we can help to order it but you will have to bear the cost
Do you have floor time?
No, listing agents get all inquiries generated by their listings forwarded to them.
Do you provide leads?
Leads are often available, but expect to pay some referral amount depending on the form of a lead.
How do you handle showing appointments?
Office doesn’t schedule and doesn’t confirm showings. You have few options: do it yourself, use free MLS scheduling tool (very flexible, extremely convenient), or you can sign up with Centralized Showings or any other similar company. As always, we're here to help!
Is there a minimum listing commission required?
We strongly recommend at least 4%, however, it is up to you how much to charge for your services. We can discuss how you can maximize your earning potential once you have transferred.
Are there any other fees that you are not mentioning?
We get this often, and the answer is No. We'll help you to stay on top of the State's Continued Education Requirements and being current on Associations' fees, but we do not charge any type of monthly fees. for our services.
I flip homes for a living and usually don’t charge myself any commissions, only paying co-op broker. What will Unique Realty charge me for these deals?
In this, and similar cases, we charge 10% of customary co-op commission of 2.5%, which is 0.25%. If your listing's co-op commission is 2.5% then total commission due at closing will be 2.75%. - 2.5% will be paid to co-op broker, and .25% (10% of co-op) will be paid to Unique Realty.
